Tonight Ice Pilots NWT will, well, pilot. If it lives up (HA!) to its ads, it will be over the top. (Double HA!)
I know several northern pilots. Their lives are not quite as exciting as this ad makes them look. So when the Yellowknife bloggers saw this, we thought we could do the same thing.
Announcing Ice Bloggers!
H/T to John for the original idea, Michael, Nancy, Jason, Karan and Kyle for starring in the ad, Taylor for some video work, and Kyle for his mad editing skillz.

Megan, you make me want to move to Yellowknife so I can partake in your video shenanigans.
Okay, not really.
I hate the cold…
We do have a ton of fun.
Fantastic! Sign me up for the first season of Ice Bloggers! You guys are too much fun!
Holy crap that was so funny!! I had to watch it a few times because I was laughing so hard I was missing parts!
Yay! I love it! When does filming start?
I love Kyle’s bit at the very end. Too funny.
Hay, Arnie, nice to see you, you Old Fart, liked the program, showes people what it really is like flying in the North. Last time I saw you, you were flying a Hurk for NWT.
Bob Ruhl, Bob Spearman, and I (bob Joyhnson from Ft. McMurry) are now retired, and still enjoy fishing, and hunting, and life as well. Ruhl and I are retired and live in the country, close to the city yet far enough as well.
Hope to make it up there to Yellowknife next summer, and hope to see you then.
If you see this note, drope me a line.
From One Old Bush Pilot to another Sage Skeys

You guys need seal skin laptop covers.
Hilarious!
While we’re on the subject of programs about the North – Ice Road Truckers has inspired one of my students to apply himslef in English – because he wants to become a trucker in the NWT. I haven’t exactly told him that the program is … slightly… exaggerated – I just encourage his hard work in class!
Love it!
OMG please tell me he didn’t just throw a macbook on the ice.
Hilarious though! I’ve been waiting for this for weeks!!!!!!!!
SO AWESOME!
Oh you are truly on top form at the moment.
Wonderful.
Oh yes, Jackie, I did. Well it was a Dell… so that my explain a bit.
Tina, I apologise for the delay in posting your comment to the site: it got stuck in my spam filter for some reason.
My favourite line is still “It’s a MITTEN…with FINGERS.”
Loved this! You guys are whacky, and wonderful….
